Am I Homesick?

Assalamo aliekoum

Hello everybody!
I have made this video about Home; and I would like to share it with you, hopefully you will like it. Also, I wanna ask every one of you: (Where is home for you? what things would you think when you hear the word "Home"?
Please feel free to comment.

Another day has come and gone. in Toronto or Rome
But I wanna go home
Maybe I am surrounded by a million people but I Still feel all alone
I just wanna go home
Oh, I miss her, you know
And I’ve been keeping all the letters that I wrote to her, Each one a line or two
Well I would send them but I know that it’s just not enough, though
My words were cold and flat and she deserve more than that

Another aeroplane, another nice place
I’m lucky I know
But I wanna go home

Mmmm, I’ve got to go home
Let me go hooooooooooooooome

I’m just too far from where she is and from where they are.
I wanna come hooooooooooome

And I feel just like I’m living someone else’s life
It’s like I just stepped outside
When everything was going right.

Umm, Another winter are coming
And perhaps it is going
In even Toronto or Beijing
And I wanna go home
Let me go hooooooooome

Let me go home
I’ve had my run.
Dear, I’m done
I gotta go home. Let me go hoooooome

I wish to be home tonight,
I will all be alright.
I’m coming back home...

(This is quoted from Michael Buble's song !) Keepsmile :)

I am coming back

Assalamo aliekoum

Dear fellow bloggers, first of all, Eid mubarak and kul sanna wa antum taybeen “ Every year, you all are all right, satisfactory or in satisfactory condition”
Ramadan went so fast and finished abruptly; May Allah accepts our fasting, prayers, and do3aa, and forgives all our sins.
Days are going so fast “Sob7an Allah” and for a long time, I haven’t post anything on my blog and even I haven’t visited or read any other blogs, hence, I would like to apologize to all readers of my blog and all bloggers for the absence. As they say "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" :).
In fact, I am quite sure that I had missed a lot and a lot; I’ve gotten very busy before Ramadan and during Ramadan I decided to stay away from blogosphere and from the internet in general, tried to benefit myself spiritually as much as I could from this wonderful opportunity in this great month "The month of blessing and mercy".
Again! Eid mubarak and I am promising you “en shaa Allah” that I’ll be back soon and I will try to post more frequent than I had before.

For example, I don't remember that I kept any background more than three or four months. But I do remember the last one,It was really beautiful " a picture from AL-NAGAZA - ALKHOMS". Right now, this is how my desktop looks like. it has been like this since last April. Its hilarious, ain't it?
Just keepsmilin...
So, lets see what does my desktop tell about me!?

V I P

As we walk our path of this life, we meet people everyday. Most are simply met by chance. But, some are sent our way. These become special friends whose bond we can't explain; the ones who understand us and share our joy and pain. Their love contains no boundaries. So, even we are apart, their presence enhances us with a warmth feeling in the heart. This love becomes a passageway, when even the miles disappear. And so, these friends, Allah sends our way, Remain forever near.

I recently got in contact with the best guy ever in my life. Unfortunately, we have held apart over years. But, even though it was long years, I never forgot him and I was always thinking about him and remember the great time and fun we had when we were students in Alfateh University. So I finally caught him and I am very very happy to get hold of him back and know that he’s got married to the woman he loved and he also has got a cute baby named “ Abdulmalek”; Here where we should say “Mashaa Allah”.
Abdulmalek is eight months old now. Wow! days are running so fast!

Dear pal, I hope we will keep in touch forever en shaa Allah and I am really looking forward to meet you soon, just to tell your son the truth about your past ya 3efreet !!

This is my friend and his son.

The Prince Abdulmalek seems enjoying play in grass

I guess he is trying to catch some worm and eat it, lol!

A message for Doctors

I was reading one of Libyan blogs when I came up with some thoughts about practice of medicine and the relationship between physicians and patients. I personally believe that such a relationship must be natural and simple as much as it could be. I also think that there are many physicians misunderstand the concept of medical practice and they are not conscious of what’s called malpractice. Here is something that I would like to share and hope it can help to clarify it:

Around this part of the world they have some pillars in medical practice succinctly abbreviated by "PEARLS". P - Partnership: meaning make the patient like your partner and work with him throughout his illness as win-lose business type, you share the loss and the winning. E - Empathy; which includes passion and sympathy; expressing it and working with the patient and his/her family in a manner that shows your human side, meat and flesh. A - Apology: sorrow, not infrequently you would say “i am sorry, i have to tell you - to the patient - we found a positive test for HIV or a cancer or a serious illness" or you would say " I am sorry for your pain or loss. I know this position is difficult for you" the last part is admitting the difficulty and suffering the patient have. That will alleviate the stress or the burden on the patient. R - Respect; self explanatory, showing respect and careful attitude with the patient.... Much like back home when we deal with the patients with strength and fairness, or special manner showing more or less " Ezzat Annafs" in a very saddle way. L - Legitimization: making the patient feel he has the right to doubt and contemplate his medical problem or complaints. The patient is not to be blamed for his misfortune. Give him/her the benefit of the doubt. Nonetheless, you may correct his / her mistakes softly and peacefully. S - Support: This is given by the fact that Medicine’s important role is support. Not only showing it but also expressing it regardless of ethnicity, religion, skin color, personal belief or other stuff - appearance, behavior....etc. The main point here is making the patient feel that you are there to help and care. Believe me i got a lot of success just saying to the patient or his/her family " I am here to help you, or make you feel better" or Sometimes, when the patient give me alot of hard time i would just say "I am trying to help here and I need you to let me do that or we can't go forward " or " I would always be here to treat your illness any time" in some occasions.

Another important part of your success “ Dear Doc”, not only knowledge and updated medical evidence, more importantly is to get acclimatized to the term “Professionalism" - guess what it is? It is: "Special skills possessed by a special character in a special occupation that requires special knowledge to provide special care and meet especially high expectations like those in Medicine".
Finally,Don’t forget to keepsmile, this is an important and special skill, which medical professionals should possess, so please keepsmile

I got engaged!!!

Ho...oh...

My life will never be the same
‘Cause, girl came and changed, The way I walk; The way I talk
I cannot explain the things I feel for her, but she knows it’s true
Ooh, it feels so right. I’ve searched for the perfect love all my life (All my life).
Oh, ooh, it feels like I (Like I) have finally found her, perfect love is mine (See, I finally found).
She rocked my world, you know; she did
In time I knew that love would bring this happiness to me!
I tried to keep my sanity. I waited patiently...
Who’d think that I (Oh) have finally found the perfect love I searched for, all my life (Searched for all my life). Such a perfect love that’s so right...

Hey!!
Finally I’m engaged! I didn’t mention it on my blog before, but I was in Libya for vacation (my first time since long time) and I had been planning to pop the question for quite a while. My apologies to the many friends — even close ones — who I didn’t tell. I wanted absolute air-tight secrecy! Special apologies to those whom I flat-out lied to when they asked me if I was going to propose on this trip.
It was really hard to make decision about this absolute turning point in my life. I personally I have been studying women carefully from all aspects for long time, before I decide to get through. I have studied women from literature point of view, chemically, mathematically, statistically, and I have studied physics of women as well. From my study -as shown in illustrations below- I have concluded that - even with those negative references and regardless the unpleasant results and those misfortunes- “Woman without her, man is nothing”. Although some people would say that “Woman without her man, is nothing” I can’t deny that, ‘Cause , that sounds true as well, doesn't it?!
However, I finally found the perfect love that I’ve searched for all my life; and I've decided to spend the rest of my life with her “en shaa Allah taala”. My beloved fiancée is an absolute gem. She is Libyan girl from Tripoli (originally from Al3orban, I don't know where that place is; Maybe in Western Mountain!). She is smart, she has a dazzling smile, she's keen since of humor and much more.
Our engagement made on last Feb 14, an extraordinary day by itself, but that was only the beginning.

Let's see and talk about those studies
Here is the evidence with illustrations. Enjoy and keepsmile
Note: "Maybe My girl doesn’t belong to this ..."

Element Name: WOMAN
Symbol: WO
Atomic Weight: (don't even go there!)

Physical properties: Generally round in form. Boils at nothing and may freeze any time. Melts whenever treated properly. Very bitter if not used well.

Chemical properties: Very active. Often unstable. Possesses strong affinity for gold, silver, platinum, and precious stones. Violent when left alone. Able to absorb great amounts of exotic food. Turns slightly green when placed next to a better specimen.

Mathematically: this paragraph shows my proof (axiom or Moosalama)

Statistically:
Statistics shown here are from retrospective studies (reference of experience of many married guys for decades). I don’t think that my darling would go under such category, but that’s not due to statistic biases for sure; “thats just because we just got engaged”…

Notice how the chance - of a man to win an argument- drops down from about 90 % before engagement to 30% at engagement period and to almost 0 % after marriage

Historically: Women were a problem through Eras, since the era of Siedona Adam “peace up on him” up till these days. They're still the same, banat Hawwa never change!

Literary: The Arabic notion that says Behind every great man, a woman seems to be a fact, but guess why, or for what? Answer is: "Behind every great man a woman to destroy what he has made or built…

Woman Usage: Highly ornamental. An extremely good catalyst for dispersion of wealth. Probably the most powerful income reducing agent known.
Caution: Highly explosive in inexperienced hands.

I hope that I haven’t insulted or offended any one, those are just my own views, I just tried to bring the subject in a cheerful friendly attitude. Maybe the evidences that I brought in here go wrong and never exist anymore. I personally don’t care too much about realism. I really respect women for what they are. I have nothing against woman, and I apologize if done wrong way, but I know before anything they are our mothers, sisters, aunts, wives, and our kids’ moms’ en shaa Allah.
I hope that every youth man and woman find his/her soul mate, and all get married and live in sa3ada wa hanaa and get dozens of boys and girls, And they all keepsmilin'

May Allah bless all and forgive us, May Allah make it easy for all and make our dreams come true. Amen…

Instructions For Life

Assalamo Aliekoum

They said "Life is a Buffet So Save Room for Dessert". I think that's true but I would say "there are some other important instructions for life, which we always should keep in mind, I think!"
Here is my instructions..
1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
2. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
3. Follow the three Rs: Respect for self Respect for others and Responsibility for all your actions.
4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
6. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
7. When you realise you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
8. Spend some time alone every day.
9. Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
11. Live a good, honourable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.
12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.
13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
14. Share your knowledge. You'll die, but may achieve immortality.
15. Be gentle with the earth.
16. Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.
17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.
18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
19. Approach love and compassion with reckless abandon.
20. Last but not the least, Just keepsmiling...

The Husband Store!

Assalamo Aliekoum

A store that sells husbands has just opened in Tripoli, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE !

Remember, ONLY ONCE!

There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch . . .. you may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband.

On the first floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.

The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking. "Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads: Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead good looking and help with the housework. "Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"

Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads: Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads: Floor 6 - You are visitor number 1,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.

Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day!

THE HAPPY EID

Assalamo aliekoum

Hi everybody!

First of all, happy Eid and happy new year, may Allah bless you and brings all of you good health, happiness and prosperity. This is my first trial of posting, so please forgive me if I have done some writing or grammer mistakes or if it wasn't good enough post.

This Eid I have missed my family, missed the fun of this great day, I have missed the good humor of relatives and friends, and I missed that moment, where we all looking at Dad while he attempts to slaughter "Kharoof El3eed", as some of us look with compassion and pitifully toward Alkharoof, while others just waiting for "Eshewaa". I really missed everybody and everything..

However, we have had Eid and we have had great time with friends here inToronto, even though there was no Shewaa, we have enjoyed the Eid in Libyan Tradition...

Anyway, I wanna say "I love joking" and I would like to share some jokes with you guys, the next are some of the funny jokes which I have received from my best friend. He is from Al Zawia, I hope you guys will like them.

Here we go>>
Joke#1
An American, a Brit and an Iraqi are in a bar one night having a beer.
The Yankee drinks his beer and suddenly throws his glass in the air, pulls out a gun and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, "In the States our glasses are so cheap that we don't need to drink from the same one twice."
The Brit obviously impressed by this, drinks his beer, throws his glass into the air, pulls out his gun and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, "In Britain we have so much sand to make the glasses that we don't need to drink out of the same glass twice either."
The Iraqi, cool as a cucumber, picks up his beer and drinks it, throws his glass into the air, pulls out his gun and shoots the American and the Brit. He says "In Baghdad we have so many Americans and Brits that we don't need to drink with the same ones twice."

Joke#2

An Amish boy and his father were visiting a mall. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by the two shiny, silver walls that could move apart and then slide back together again. The boy asked, “what is this father”? The father (never having seen a lift or elevator) responded, “Son, I have never seen anything like this in my life, I do not know what it is”. While the boy and his father were watching with amazement, a rather heavy, not too attractive, older lady walked up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened and the lady walked between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched the small circular numbers above the walls light up sequentially. They continued to watch until it reached the last number and then the numbers began to light in the reverse order. Finally, the walls opened up again and a beautiful, young woman stepped out. The father said quietly to his son, “Amm! Hurry Son, Go get your mother”!

Again, Happy Eid and I am very exited to know what is coming next in this new year... May Allah make it blessing year for all humanity.
